Our bag film is commonly referred to as "lay flat tubing" it has a maximum operating temperature of 450 degrees fahrenheit/232 degrees celsius and a melt point of 500 degrees fahrenheit/260 degrees celsius. The base material is nylon 6/6 which is modified to make it a much softer material than straight nylon 6/6.
Made of polyamide 6/6. Polyamide 6/6 has a good chemical resistance to most compounds. It exhibits extremely good solvent resistance to most of the common organic solvents; unaffected by lubricants, oils, or refrigerants. It is particularly applicable in exposures to aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
